DW-Gretsch Namm 2019.

That was the surprise this year, no booth with the new products like the previous years…

The booth was most a meeting room with a small stage where some artists came to perform.

But no worry, DW and Gretsch were presenting some new products, we went in Oxnard, at the factory where they create a booth to show what will be the 2019 highlights.

DW:

Like every year John Good founds a new wood to work with.
This year will be almond with this limited Collector’s series edition kit, 50 pieces only.

2 new signature snares: the Hal Blaine “Wrecking Crew” & “Earth Wind & Fire” model developed in collaboration with Ralph Johnson & Jon Paris.

For the hardware DW celebrates the DW 5000 40th birthday with a new model.

PDP:

3 new kits avec with the Spectrum, shells are made with maple and poplar, new FTM, Floating Tom Mount.
New finishes for the Concept Classic Maple with a limited edition snare in 8X12.

GRETSCH:

New finishes for the Catalina Maple and a Catalina Special Edition was presented in Ebony Satin and Blue Dulco.

In the USA Custom family, the Limited Exotic Red Gum, will be available in only 50 pieces.

In Brooklyn series, Gretsch releases the Micro kit with a 12×16” bass drum, 10×7 tom, 13×12 floor tom and a 13×4,5 snare.

LP celebrates its 55th birthday with new products and signature series by Sheila E and Karl Perrazo.
New bells and cajons too.
